Summer in Thredbo
Bring or hire a mountain bike and enjoy the trails around Thredbo - either up and down the Thredbo valley or on the mountain. Go to the Gallery to see more mountain biking pictures!

Winter in Thredbo

Thredbo has skiing for beginner through to advanced and expert levels. Kosciusko quad chair runs from the Valley Terminal which is an easy, flat, 5 minute walk from Tombarra 4B.
Ride the Merritts Chair from the Valley terminal, which is an an easy, flat, 5 minute walk from Tombarra 4B
The Cruiser quad chair services the Merritts spur area and provides access to Antons T bar on Central Spur
Friday Flat is Thredbo's beginners area, and is a 5 minute bus ride from Tombarra 4B - catch the bus from the Bus stop in front of Thredbo Alpine Apartments (near the service station), 2 minutes from the front door. From Friday Flat you can ride the Gunbarrel quad chair to Central Spur, also providing access to the main mountain and Merritts spur.
If you'd like to ski the Perisher Blue Cow area, you can take the ski tube from the terminal at Bullocks Flat, which is 20 minute drive along the Alpine way
If you don't want to ski or board, take a walk along the Pipeline trail
The Village square,with coffee shops, restaurants and retail shopping is 2 minutes walk from Tombarra 4B
Stay in and read a book, watch a movie or work on a puzzle. Tombarra 4B has a DVD library, free WIFI (use the HDMI cord to access your favourite movie provider), games, playing cards and puzzles to keep you busy
Getting to Thredbo
Thredbo is about 6 hours drive from Sydney via Cooma and Jindabyne, or about 6 1/2 hours from Melbourne via Khancoban
Tombarra 4B is at 26 Bobuck Lane, Thredbo, NSW
There are a range of options if you wish to travel to Thredbo by coach in both summer and winter
Cooma airport is the regional airport that services the Snowy Mountains - flights are available and shuttle services to Thredbo can bring you the rest of the way
Events in Thredbo
In winter the Flare run takes place down the main mountain on Saturday nights and down Friday Flat on Thursdays. The best view for the main mountain is from the Alpine Way, high above the village - a 10 minute walk up Bobuck Lane and Banjo Drive
You can watch the Fireworks after the Flare run on Thursday or Saturday night from the balcony at Tombarra 4B - no need to go out in the cold!
